One of the things that diabetes has really trained me to do well in my life is plan each day. Diabetes does not give me a day off, so I cannot give diabetes a day off either. Blood sugar checks are planned: about 10 times each day. Each meal is planned: three large meals and two smaller meals. Each workout session is planned: four to five days a week.
